Matt Coutcher
Matt Coutcher came to Woodlawn Church in May of 2013 with over fifteen years of full time ministry experience. Prior to coming to Canton, Matt and his wife Christy spent eight years as lead pastors in Fremont, OH. Under their leadership the church grew in weekly attendance from forty to over six hundred.
After eleven years of marriage they welcomed their miracle son, Brady, into the world and daughter Ashlyn. Matt and Christy enjoy being outdoors and spending time with their kids. Matt also enjoys playing golf and riding his motorcycle.
Matt and Christy are honored to serve Woodlawn Church. Their passion is reaching people who are far from God or spiritually restless and developing them into fully devoted followers of Christ. They believe God loves all people and the local church is the main vehicle through which God’s love is shared.
Christy Coutcher
Mrs. Christy, wife of Lead Pastor Matt Coutcher, leads and oversees all of Woodlawn Kids with a heart full of love and purpose. She’s passionate about creating a fun, welcoming space where children can grow in their faith and discover how deeply God loves them. With her gift for teaching and her heart for families, Christy is honored to help guide the next generation alongside an incredible team and supportive parents.
